Skyler Pond?
#1
Sitting at my desk knowing I should be working I was browsing the DWR website and looked at the stocking information page. After a little looking I was surprised to find a listing for Skyler's Pond in Cache county that seemed to be stocked relatively well with catfish. Having spent the better part of this year learning how to catfish in Cache Valley I was surprised I have never heard of it. Can anyone tell me where it is and if it is worth a look? It isn't that tiny pond in Willow Park is it?

Also Jensen Pond was listed in Cache county, anyone know where that one is and is it worth a look?

I have a 2 yr old and 3 yr old and am always looking for a new place to get them into some fish as well as some new holes for myself.

Skyler pond is at willow park in the west section by the batting cages. I used to love hitting it on lunch but, they changed it to a kids pond a couple years ago. Under 14 only. I have taken my kids down there and caught lots of planter trout, tons of green sunfish, and few monster catfish. It is really mossy but there are some spots you can cast to that aren't too bad. It is a great place to take kids for an evening fishing trip. Take really small bead head flies for the sunfish. Chicken.
