camped at tony grove last weekend. the lake is about dried up and what water is left is covered in moss. We had to resort to power bait and caught a few nice hold over bows. One of them was tail dancing all the way in, I have never seen a rainbow do that before. Tried to fish with fly and bobber but could not with all the moss.
We hiked into white pine and fishing on the lake was slow but we caught a couple. On the way out we tried the stream and it was non stop for the brookies. It was cool to see them dart out from under the logs and brush and slam the fly
