Hey all. I love this board and you guys are great, but recently there was some questions on fly fishing and some private messages were exchanged. This got me to thinking, what we need is a place to go to exchange ideas. So I created a blog [url "http://northutahff.blogspot.com/"]http://northutahff.blogspot.com/[/url] that will focus on utah fly fishing waters, especially in the north. Please feel free to join and make comments. I am still coming back here as well for non-flyfishing stuff.

My plan is to allow posting of good places to fish, hints, tips, tricks, flies etc. and a general discussion. What I am hoping is that this turns into a site large enough for me to create a new website for this. I agree, other utah fly fishing sites are unfriendly and snobish. More people want to learn to fly fish, but it is hard to break into the "elitist" groups with their attitudes.

it might work but I don't know if there is enough interest in it? my fly fishing life.com has been going for a few months and there does not seem to be enough interest in hot spots for fly fishing.
