Fished Jordanelle last evening with jacobl and his daughter. We managed to get a few bass and lots of perch. No reason to worry about the perch crashing at Jordanelle. I need to get out with someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to bass fishing. I have most other fish figured out fairly well, but I have limited experience with bass. I was pleased to see my electric trolling motor worked like a charm. Sure beats firing up the main outboard and either anchoring up or trying to drift along the shoreline.

Thanks for the report. Did the perch you caught have any size to them? In my trips up there, the perch action has steadily improved up there through the summer, and I think the average size is somewhat better, compared to other years. The bass usually haven't been "pushovers" this summer, but with a little work, one can still get rewarded with some "footballs" the X is famous for.

We caught perch from really small to about 9 inches long.

That is a nice rainbow, Good for her. It's nice to know the nelle has some nice bows in ti. I've caught a few but do better on the perch and bass.
