Finally Did It + Tibble Fork Report
#1
Went to tibble fork last night and finally caught my first fish with a fly rod. I was pretty pleased with myself after looking like a fool trying to cast in the float tube while fishing with some more experienced fly fisherman. It was one of my goals this year. About a 12 inch planter bow was all. cuaght him on a #6 black wooly bugger. the only person I seen doing any good was my friend. caught 8 or so on #8 brown leech on sinking line.

Congrats on you first . I remember mine well . I did a lot of practicing on that water back in the 80's . Did any of the fish rise to the surface at sunset ? If they did try a size 16 renegade dry on top . Causey was another good spot to try this time of year with the same pattern .
