My nephew is stationed in the army in Texas. He's up visiting and wanted to fish Jordanelle for smallies tomorrow with me and his grandad. Any tips about what they are hitting lately? Last two times I fished Jordanelle the bite was slow and the lake quickly filled up with PWCs and skiers. We're going to go early and leave early to avoid said recreationists. I really enjoy this website and have learned a good deal from some of you. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Welcome to the board! I have heard that the rock cliffs area is producing well. Senkos, maniac reapers, and 6'' black worms " Zoom" wacky rigged have been catching fish ( So I have been told. ) Mantua has also been producing good action on pan fish and some LM Bass. Good luck!
