How was your labor day weekend
#1
Hope eeryone had a great labor day weekend! Personally i had to work sat but i did make my wa to cabelas on sunday and man there wasnt even a crowd! [sly] Unfortunaley i did some shopping while i was there.[Tongue] Got me some exotic jerky like wild boar and alligator.Got my kids a bow and got my self a riffle case.I have got to say cabelas in lehi is better than the bass pro in fla.But then again they dont specialize in salt water either.Didnt do any fishing this weekend but did some badly needed relaxing.Hope everyone had a fun and safe labor day weekend. SSSHHH! Cant you keep a secret! [Tongue] I wonder if some of those bows have gotten over 5 lbs yet.I will be heading down there in the next couple of weeks and see if they have started coming close to shore yet.

[cool]Here's the latest DWR report on the lake. Wonder if when they say "water is high" if that means it's FULL or if it's close to full. Regardless, I'm sure it's got a lot more in it than the last time you guys have fished it.

Even though it's a long was away from me, I'm gonna try to get down there this fall as it gets colder but before ice-up. Also, I wonder how the little perchies are doing? Should be doing well with all of this new cover, but ya never know.

Here's the brief report (as of August 24th or so):

YUBA RESERVOIR - (Aug 24) Both ramps are open. Water level is high and trout success was "slow". Many of the trout are going over three pounds. Fishing pressure is light. Anglers must release perch. For more info call the State Park at (435) 758-2611.
