That's good advice. There should still be plenty of brush in the water. Try to find a place where the brush is submerged at least 3 feet, and there is quick access to deep water. I normally get them in areas like this. Shallow diving cranks work very well in both clown and fire tiger colors. I would also throw a spinner bait with a fire tiger skirt. I prefer brass or gold blades, but I really don't think that the tigers care. You should pick up some bass as a bonus.
I am not a big fan of the big j-13 Rapalas. Some argue that you get fewer muskies, but the ones you do get are bigger. I have not found that to be the case. I have caught more 24-36in muskies on the large broken back rapalas than I have on anything else. And you do catch fewer.
If you go early in the morning, before the power squadron infests the lake, I like to throw large buzzbaits, or other topwater lures. Nothing better than a 45in tiger ripping a buzzbait off the top.
I have only caught 1 on a fly in my life, and it was on a double bunny in orange. I tied it, so I am not sure if you will be able to find one. I used to tie them for Mountain West Outfitters. You may be able to make a special request from the good people at Hooked, but don't quote me. [

Anyway, I hope you latch into one or two, and I hope they don't latch into you. [
