Deer Creek

Because of a late start we headed to Deer Creek, the fishing was slow at best. I did manage this one bow on a gold and black Panther Martin. As I was heading out I was stopped by the DWR to do a survey afterwards, I ask how others had been doing and he said I was the first to have any fish.

Thanks for the tip I will have to try again latter this week. I talked to some other fishermen that were leaving as we arrived, they said that the fish had been jumping all morning but they were not biting.
