Took a trip down to Sand Hollow this weekend. Fished Sat AM.
Caught 7, but none of any size to speak of. A storm came through the area Fri afternoon, and may have turned em off. I spoke to a fellow fisherman, fishing the same area. I was in the right spot (east side), and using Senko's and various crankbaits. I hung a nice one, on a crawdad crank, but he wrapped me up in the brush (I could see him, the water was pretty clear.) He came off while I was trying to get him free.
I can't wait to go back...
Water temp was 74, and clear. Wind picked up pretty hard in the Afternoon.
