Utah Walleye state record holder has passed away...

Jeffery "Sneff" William Tanner, 45, of Richfield has passed away September 12, 2005 in the hills east of Elsinore. He was fourwheeling in the mountians where he died.

He holds the state record for walleye at Deer Creek Reservior.

Jeffery William Tanner



Jeffery William Tanner, 45, of Richfield, passed away
September 12, 2005 in the hills east of Elsinore. He was born on a cold
, snowy morning on December 22, 1959 in Richfield, to John Robert and
Naomi Ann Dale Tanner.
He married Wendy Jo Anderson, they later divorced. He married Karen
Adams on October 14, 2004.
Jeff was a well liked person throughout his life. He loved the outdoors
and was an avid hunter and fisherman, he still holds the state record for
Walleye at Deer Creek Reservoir. He died in the mountains on his 4
wheeler doing what he liked best. Jeff took special care of Angel while
he was a part of her life.
Survivors include his parents of Lehi; wife, Karen, of Richfield;
children, Jerimy Wayne Tanner of Orem, Casey Jamison Tanner of Orem,
CheyAnne Whitney and Peter Perry of Pleasant Grove, Dillon Jeffery Tanner
of Pleasant Grove; Karen's Children, Angel Marie Wilkey, Barry K. Wilkey
both of Richfield; brothers, Reginald John (Natalie) Tanner of Lehi, Orin
Robert Tanner of Sevier, Daniel J. (Lisa) Tanner of American Fork, Terry
Ann (Buzz) Peterson of Joseph, Janet D. (Cole) Christiansen of American
Fork.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Orin and Lila Olcott Tanner,
Reginald Thomas and Rachel Young Dale.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 12:00
noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel where friends may call to visit with
the family after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City
Cemetery.

Oh wow, i know him i worked with his wife karen for 3 years, i never learned his name though. That is really Sad he seemed like a great guy and i know that karen adored him.

On a side note didnt the fish come out of provo river just below deer creek?

That is Sad, I met him a few years back, nice guy.

I went to school in Lehi with Jeff and his brother "Reggie." Those guys loved to hunt and fish during our high school days.
