Trout question

I didnt think the trout would reproduce in yuba but it seems like there is a ton of trout minnows everywhere.Is it possible that the trout in yuba are reproducing? These minnows are black with silver bottoms and there is balls of them everywhere on the shoreline.Also the perch are still everywhere and they are getting bigger also . I even had one that was big enough for the frying pan!

[cool]Ocean, i don't think i heard anything about those bows that werer planted in there last year being sterile 'bows, so, YEAH, I'd have to say that they are ready to get it on. Also, didn't somebody say last spring or so that the 'bows were in the gravel beds of the river spawning?

Sounds to me like we are gonna have a nice 'bow fishery in there until (and even AFTER) the 'eyes get going in there again. THere's gonna be some 10 pound 'bows in there in a year or two while we're waiting to the 'eyes to get reproducing.
