Where is the "L" at lincoln beach?

I've herd reference to the L several times and I'm not sure exactly what that is. I was down at LB a few days ago and launched in a little cove that had the remnants of two old one lane concrete ramps. This was just barely west of the old concrete building. Is that the L?
