But I'm glad their protected now. Their a living fossil. Can you imagine the age of that 1500lber when it was caught?

I was told that before I was tle in papa's eye my old man use to fish for them commercially on the Columbia.

Spent a summer out on the Snake River sturgoen fishing back in 1995. One night we caught seventeen!! of them. They ranged from 3'-9' long. All were caught on pickled herring.
