Actually, these guys are everywhere! After the initial storm hit there was a 20ft swell ... WAVE that covered several Parishes [countys]. The devistation is surreal here. the people have nothing left. Some towns were completely swept away. I saw a school that had just the foundations remaining. The stink from rotting saltwater logged vegitation is almost too much to bear. I met a guy who stopped our patrol to ak us if we have seen his house. We came from down his road and he still hadn't been there to see the damage. His house & neigborhood were completely gone. I hadn't the heart to tell him. It was .

Hug your wife, kids and thank the lord. We have so much and it could all be taken away so quickly. It puts a new meaning behind 72-hour kits.
