[#ff4040]Has anybody noticed that we are the only ones that actually post things that are current. I mean everybody on the Utah board seems to be the only people on BFT. I just noticed that when I look at other places they are just not as current. Just a little observation, and was curious if anobody else noticed.[/#ff4040]

It's always been like that, when we first started using this site, the most active board was California. It did not take long before the Utah board had the most post and members and the gap keeps growing. WH2

[#ff4040]It seems like we are more friendly to each other too. Most of us here do not mind sharing little tips and secrets. We don't mind having others tag along to our "honey holes" either. Everybody on the UT board are first class people. It's an honor to be amongst such nice people.[/#ff4040]

You are so right and that is one of the things that makes this site so popular. A lot of the original members belonged to another site before Predator found this site. That site went down hill fast because the owner would not take or give control of it to someone that would do the duties that the moderators do on this site. As long as people are helpful and the mod keep everyone in line this site should continue to grow. Some people like it, others don't because of a number of factors but BFT Ut is a great site and a great resource. WH2

[cool][#0000ff]I'll echo what WH2 has said. Most of us have "hooked up" with BFT after trying to deal with other boards. For some reason, Utah seems to have more active anglers (than othe states) who know how to use computers and who enjoy fishing forums. There have been (and still are) several other places to play online, but BFT quickly moved to the front.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]It has always been surprising to me how small the participation is on the California board. I lived in many areas of California and fished them all. I know there are a bunch of anglers there, and they can't all be computer illiterate. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I know there are a lot of online fishing clubs over there, but it is mostly a regional thing. California is like a country, not a state, and there are so many defined areas and types of fishing that people tend to specialize more.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The policy here has always been that everybody is welcome...until they start using the board as a playground and interfering with the REAL purpose. That is, to provide good info for all, and a place where anyone can ask questions and not get flamed.[/#0000ff]

Hey twolves I know you fish DC a lot, there are many here who fish it too, but this year seems to have been different than most, including for me...usually I hit Deer Creek a couple of times during the summer, but never got up there this year.

Hey, this is the "Right Place"! Everywhere else is just bush leage as far as boards go! MR. J.
