Strawberry What?
#1
Planned all week to head out to strawberry but we all got too lazy and didnt want to drive there. We decided on my new favorite bipolar resevoir, deer creek. I have fished there all summer just because of gas prices, i prefer strawberry and scofield for obvious reasons. but today if someone would have blind folded me and told me we were at strawberry i would have believed them. I went with my brothers and dad, 4 of us total. we fished from 3-6. We caught 32 fish, 31 rainbows and one smallie. The biggest was 20 inches, we caught 2 18"ers, 2 16"ers, and a couple of 13-14"ers. These fish were fat and fought hard. I took 2 pics of the stringer but couldnt find the usb cord to post it. I will try to do it tommorow just so the skeptics can see that Deer Creek isnt so bad after all. Actually every fall we do exceptionally well up there. We were also fishing from shore.

Thanks for the report .No problem with a report like that . I've only stop by 2 times in the last 20 years to fish there . I should give it a try sometime . Easier on the fuel bill .

I stopped by on my way back from Strawberry and caught 2 one nice 16" the other a bitty 6". But when I arrived I asked another fisherman how it was and he held up a stringer of bows 10 total. The biggest I would estimate to be about 21" and the others not far behind. They had caught them on yellow zeeks sierra gold. I caught my two on my old trusty Panther Martin.
