Water clarity will play a bigger role than the sun and clouds. How deep is this pond and what color is the water??

privet small pond bass can be tricky as all get up.

take the whole arsonal. hopefuly you will have something in your box they havent seen before.

the problem with small pond bass is you arent casting to 25-30 bass swimming around you are casting at the same bass. Through reppitition a bass learns that something it has seen and has striked at is not food wont pay attention to it any more. That dosnt mean he wont forget soon.

food supply is a major factor as well. if there is so much food that he stays full then getting them to strike will be a matter of agrivating him in to hitting. so be sure to take your jigs and spinner baits too.

I got my first bass out of a very small pond, and I was using a night crawler on a hook. It was a small bass, but still a bass.
