Bear river 10-21 10-22

I went out to bear river Friday and Saturday. Went down stream both nights. We caught a few catfish and we stayed till after dark. I only kept 3 each day. There are plenty of bites but they are all little bait thiefs. It seems that they are not taking the bait very hard you have to have patience and tough bait.

Take plenty of bug spray to last that little time when the sun starts to go down and it gets cold enough to hamper the bugs.

Thanks for the report John, is the water still running high? Anything over three pounds?

Water us still running high. We did have a couple that were around 2 lbs come off at the boat. Quote from my friend "No I don't need the net" quote from fish "Oh a boat? No thanks."
