Yes Siree I went fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep at 4:30 am I hooked up the old poontoon boat to the truck. Picked up two buddies from work. And of to timpgoats house we went. Launched the boat at the Strawberry Bay Marina at dark thirty. Only one other boat on the ramp. Guess everyone else was having heated exchange on BFT. Could of used some of that heat at the Berry as it was snowing hard and little white caps at launch. Well Jeremy no more than got his line in the water leaving the ramp then FISH ON. He immediatly hooked into fish #2.
It was going to be one of those days were the fish bite nonstop. Not to be. The wind made boat control a struggle at best. And although we managed to boat 20 fish between the four of us. The Wind became totally unbearable by 11:30. The sun did come out and the wind died down for about 20 minutes. During which time we caught 8 fish. There were probably 6 fish that were 20 to 21 inches. With the heavest going 2 1/2#s.
At 11:30 we ran to the marina waited around till around 1:00pm for the wind to die down. It never did. So in a driving snow storm, darn them snowflakes hurt when they hit you in the eye, we loaded the boat. No photo's this time as I ran out of the house and left the camera on the table.
So now its everyone else turn to get out and fish.
