E-Lake or Scofield from Shore????

Does anyone know if you can still fish from the shore on e-lake or Scofield. Is there ice around the edges that will make it unfishable. I plan on hitting one of them on Friday. I do not have the brass to hit the ice yet, I like a little more ice.

Someone reported that there is 6" of ice at Huntington now... that would be more than enough. I would go there. []

Head over to Huntington the ice is good solid clear ice. It is very slick so take some cleats or shoes with a good rubber sole. You will do much better at catching fish at Huntington than E-lake or Scofield.

hey kidsnme you can still fish scofield from sure as of a day ago.. it trying to freez up but still getting to warn in the day...

E-lake might be a little harder to get to.. i have not been to the road down by the boat ramp but this time of year it can be a realy bad place to get stuck.. the fishing should be great there.. might be ok down by the dam still a long walk but not as bad as years past..

Hi Kidsnme, I was there yesterday and there was very little sign of ice. Fishing from the east shore was was good early and great from 3p to sunset. Fish were healthy and put up some good fights. Beautiful day! Go have some fun!
