Looks like we've got some good ice making weather ahead...

[cool] "Up to three feet in the mountains..." Sounds good to me. This should put a good blanket of snow on the ground up there for good, afterwhich when the storm leaves, the snowcover should help make the temps REALLY drop up there to begin freezing the rest of our favorite ice fisheries! Here's the link to the good news...: http://kutv.com/...story_329182058.html

Amen!! I've been watching the Berry temps all weekend. It's cold up there right now!! [Smile]

I'm thinking Mud Creek might be fishable soon. Ice was on the edges a week ago. These temps should cap Mud Creek Bay. How far out and how deep is the next question! Come on ice! I want to go fishing!

[cool]Still looks like great ice making weather! With temps like these: http://weather.kutv.com/US/UT/Salt_Lake_City.html , you can generally count on it this time of year being about 20 degrees cooler at places like Strawberry, Scofield, etc!
