Thanks for the report, I have eaten the white fish once and would like to get some more. I spent two days this week replacing my shift cable after it froze up on my last trip to BL (never want to do that again). I finished the enclosure, installed a heater, radio and speakers in the boat now I can go after some White fish. If anyone would like to go out with me next week send me a PM.

Nice article Scott, I hope to get some the next time out and try your receipts. One question, is there a difference in taste between the Bear lake whitefish and the Bonneville whitefish?

I've done "palatability checks" on both species and could detect no difference with my taste buds. The only problem is that Bear Lake whitefish will grow to a maximum size of about 9", so there isn't a lot of meat on them compared to the Bonnevilles which average about 1.5lbs.
