E-lake 12-15-05
#1
made the long trip up to E-Lake today.. went by a little city seting on huntington.. so went on down the road to E-lake.. got on ice at about 10:00 6* up there today and brezey.. ice was about 5 inches thick and poping all day..
started on with a tube and minnow and was hitting the fish good..
switched over to plain jig and minnow and cought some more.. then started trying outher places and cought fish all over but 32 feet seamed to do best.. i cought around 30 fish and left at sun down there it's at 3:00..

the walk is a bugger and the snow is deep but the lake is up about 50 feet from last year so not as far as last year..

Ron, did you park by the dam and walk across the dam? If yes, did they have that small parking area plowed by the dam?

Sounds like a fun trip Ron. Glad the lake is coming up, they must have slowed the leak down a little anyways.

Thanks for the report on E-lake, It looks like the ice ready. I am still trying to decided if it is E-lake or Strawberry in the morning. I't make come down to a coin toss when I meet up with my buddy in Spanish Fork. I am leaning towards E-lake and have the snowshoes packed.
