Fingerd if MGB can take off on a friday so can ol skipper....Hit mud creek this morning with Bigbuck, about 9 fished till 2. caught only 10 seen maybe 15..pretty danged slow for strawberry I must say..25 feet of water and it really didnt matter what we had on, if they wanted to eat, they killed it, if they were cruisen, they hung out in front of the camera for awhile then split...we had one just after noon, that had a jig hangen out its mouth and this fish hung out untill we left..kinda like a decoy..course i think he was chasen off the other fishes cuz it got really slow after 1200. hears some pics..the snow machine is not in the pics cuz bigbuck didnt want it to close to the sled..case it was too thin ya know...7 inches way out the end any ways..dont be scared i told him??? Yeow.!

Dude- cool photos!! Those underwater camera pics are to cool!! I've never fished with one of those, they look very impressive. What kind is yours?
Stinks it was so slow. Probably heading up in the a.m., but can't decide where to go.

thats bigbucks camera..its better than sitten around watchen opera you know..not that I got any thing against opera..for all you opera fans out their..but them cameras kick ARSS, not sure how we used to catch them before those came out..they chomp on the jig and Whack..well some times..?[pirate]

Nice pics, Skip! Thanks! Maybe someday I'll get off work to have that kind of scenery too. I wonder how the Christmas tree would look on the ice with all the presents under it, a few holes freshly drilled with visions of monster trout dancing in my head...........

way people are talken their not letten you park in the mariner....and it was the first trip of the year so mud creek is easly accessable...once the Ice is good will be able to cruise the big water on the snow machines..so for now mud creek can take the edge off of my Ice fishen blues...so far so good my man...MGB is goen up tomorrow...he'll tell us where the fishies are biten..bass hole..my presents could be under the tree on the ice..sugar plums my A#$...[laugh]

] Why is it everyone going to Mud Creek ? That lake has other spots to fish . Maybe I'll make a trip up there this year . MGB keeps inviting but saturdays are hard to do for me . I really want some perch to eat instead of slimers anyway .
