Yes, I too quickly learned how little I actually new about jigging (at least at flaming gorge) until I went with Jim. Even after 3 separate trips I'm still learning.
For the most part, 90% of the success is dependant on calm weather (none of the big fish pictures have gailes in the background). The other factor for success is being 100% focused and then being able to quickly set the hook with your wrists (rather than the standard "bass" fisherman's set). I suffered from the problem of the latter last time, but still was able to catch a 23.
So good luck to you BLM! That's a relatively long way to travel and something to really look forward to. Being that he's booked pretty solid, it appears to be a rather rare opportunity to hook up with Jim. So I really hope the weather is good for you, cause if it is, I know you'll boat them.
Tight lines.....Look forward to your report.

[black]That was one of the best guided trips I have ever been on. It was also one of the toughest, phyically and mentally exhausting, most intense fishing experiences I've ever had. Jim Williams is great to fish with and works hard to get you on the fish. I throughly enjoyed fishing with him. I'll post a complete report tonight.[/black]

Lookin' forward to the report Rich. It sure looked cold, but it sounds like it was well worth the trip.
