the brother-in-law and myself hit the berry today.
we fished chicken creek east in 18 foot of water.
ice was 12 inches thick with 1-2 inches of snow on it.
started at 7:30 and was getting hits right from the start.
left at 1 pm. it was snowing pretty good .
we were using white and chartruese jigs tipped with minnows.
meet up with coldfooter and 3M. . nice to meet ya both.
we caught fish from top to bottom, the bite was real light.
we iced 14 slotters all released to play again.
here are a few pictures. that's me in the first picture not the in-law

Nice pictures; thanks for sharing! We're heading up tomorrow, and hope to pull a few out too. We've been taking the still camera, but tomorrow I'm taking the video camera instead. The sons-in-law having done so well, I figure I can shoot a full-length feature film of just them!
I noticed from your pictures - looks like you throw down some rugs in your shelter. I do the same thing with my HT 2-man shelter. Keeps it quiter and warmer, plus easier to keep up with things I'm always throwing around.
Congratulations on a good trip!!!!

[cool]Nice report, ironworker. Those are some beautiful fish, and that's my favorite place on Strawberry to icefish. Much smaller crowds than the marina! Sounds like I'd better get up there soon to get reaquainted with why I came up with Out4Trout!

Hey Red it was good to meet you and your brother in-law.
We didnt get on the cap to early, in fact, we didnt get set up until after 10am I suppose but found the bite pretty steady but it slowed around 1.00pm. Everything we caught from the Cobra sucken hole (inside joke) were also in the slot but a couple were pushin' 22.
26', 2" white/pepper or glow tubes tipped with mini's or chub meat.
