Nice report Skip, it looks like the kids had a lot of fun. So I guess the reports of a lot of planters were true, did you catch any kokanee?

Are you trying to say that the edges were open or soft and you had to jump 4 feet to get on the ice? I am planning on heading up that way on Friday if I can get on. Would you take a plank to get on with?

Its a good thing you didn't come with Kent,TinCanFish and myself today there was no room for a part time fisherman. "ON" the ice at 7:00am "STARTED OFF" the ice at 5:45pm fished right threw the snow storm and nailed over 5 dozen huge cutts. You think that was an "ice woopen" Friday, I was all over it today.
Glad you had a great time with the Hooper Gang today. Lets get those snowmobiles up to the berry and get away from the crowd. Talk to you latter.

Hey Mike, sounds like a good day on the ice, is someone putting up a report or did I miss it? Do you think a ATV could get on the ice at the Berry and get around ok? Thanks for the info.

After I posted here I added to TomGun's reeport. It snowed about 3" as of 6:00pm today at the berry. There was no snow to speak of prior to today. An ATV would work just fine on the ice. The only problem I see would be getting back up the boat ramp at the marina you should take a 4X4 ATV if you go. If you are going to any other area I am not sure of the access to and off the ice. Once you are on the ice there is no problem.
