Thanks for the report, I'm hoping to get up there on Monday depending on the weather. I sure hope it gets a little colder or that ice is going to be in trouble. Did you catch any perch over 10 inches? WH2

We went sunday late and left early it was still slow but we caught 12 perch between two of us in about 3 hours, I just wanted to try a new pattern and drop shot rig, it seemed to work pritty good since no one was catching much. the ice looked about the same, its holdiing up better than I thought it would, there is about a football size hole in the middle, so if it skins back over be careful where you go out in the middle.

I thought we saw your truck there, we were the first ones on the ice at that pullover and left at 12 noon.

Just missed ya then . I didn't get there till 8:00am , but didn't get to the truck till about 12:45pm . I hate it when I get to far away and have to fight the wind on the way back .

Yea, it was tough out there with that wind. It was slow catching for everyone around us, how did you do?

How was the ice and slush? Also, how was that open spot that was reported previously? I will be trying it tomorrow.

After the report I read yesterday, I thought it would be very slick today. All that fresh snow helped a lot though and made walking a lot easier. If the weather reports come true there should be several inches of the white stuff there by tomorrow. We were marking a lot of slimers from 20 to 30 ft but they would not play when we reeled up to them.
