I have been trying to buy one of the Cabelas Ice fishing tent kits for about 2 weeks now. Yesterday I called to see if the 3 they had on order had come in and was told that they had and the store had 4 in stock including the display. I jumped in the truck and roared down to get one. When I arrived and asked for one I was told that they had none. I was mifed to say the least and began to complain. I was reffered to the Manager of Customer Service, Allison. Allison listened to my story and offered to order me one fron Kearny. I said that I didn't want to pay shipping and that the store had it on sale for $99. Allison arranged to have the tent drop shipped directly to my house, paid all freight and made sure I got the sale price. Nice lady who did all that was possible to get me happy.
The tent arrived today, UPS overnite and was delivered to my door.

I think Cabelas gives good service,thats not always what you get from some of the other sports goods stores in the valley.I had heard this before they came to Utah.My son in Michigan bought a reel from Cabelas in Michigan,used it,then took it back and told them he didn't like it.They gave him full credit to get any new reel he wanted

I was really impressed with Cablea's service as well. I purchased an underwater camera that had lots of problems and my trolling plate snapped in two yesterday at Bear Lake from a defect. I took them both in today and received quick refunds back on my card with no questions asked. I bought the camera at the store and the trolling plate on the internet. I was so pleased with the speed and ease. That'll keep me coming back.

I've bought alot of stuff from cabelas (just ask my wife) and have always been treated good.

Thanks, I found it. I'm going to go out Monday or Tuesday if the weather straitens out. I'll probably be nursing a hangover and watching football Sunday.
