I just got back for fishing Taylor Hollow at East Canyon. The fish were all over the place. I managed to hook most of mine, 10 fish total, in 45 ft of water from 30 feet down to the bottom. Watching the sonar help, you would have to have the lure dropping for them to hit it after it stopped. The neighbor I took with me had better success he iced 13 fish. The middle of the lake is open water with ice all around the edges. The ice we were on was 4 to 6 inches thick. The south end looked like a city until it started to snow.

If you drive around the lake toward the resort you will see a pull over that has a bathroom. It's a steep walk to the water but it can be worth it at times. WH2

It was just getting hot as the snow started to fly. I saw you coming down the hill. I had the yellow tent. I was the closes to the edge of the ice except for a guy and his wife that fished the edge right before they left. The bite was really light. If 2 of you iced 6 fish in three hours you did good. It took us 3 hours just to find the right spot, and then I caught them about every 15 minutes.
