I ran up to the berry yesterday morning,not to many people.Fishing was great from 7:30-10:30am then it was DEAD!!!..Only a few fish after 10:30.Fished right out in front of the store in 40ft. Drilled 15 holes or so to find the schools.Used marabou jigs tipped with mill worm.All were cutts in the slot.Tried my new fishfinder out lowrance x102c..AWSOME unit! First time I used the flasher and its the coolest thing watching fish swim and hit your jigs!!..It was a great trip.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get up there on Monday, but the MOAS (Mother Of All Storms) is allegedly coming in, and I hate driving to the berry when it takes 4 hours to get there! Hopefully the weather monkeys are wrong!

I hear that, TKB! We were almost 4 hours getting home yesterday (Friday) afternoon in that little storm. Roads were slick, most had slowed down, but after getting through Heber the State Troopers weren't allowing anyone over the hill at Jordanelle. They said it was glassy, and wanted us to either go back through Provo Canyon, or take the scenic route to Kamas. Not THERE's a MUCH SAFER bit of road to send a bunch of vehicles over! Made for a long trip back to Layton.
We did okay on the ice; one of my friends caught a 23", 4-pound cutt. And the action was pretty good for all in our group . . . except me. I couldn't even dial up a fish on the finder. But we did have an Aqua-Vu, and got to see some cool hits on the TV.

That was a fun drive home yesterday. I actually had to lock in my hubs.
We didn't catch anything yesterday either, but it's strawberry, and I never catch anything at strawberry. We fished behind the lodge from about 9 to 1. Nice day to be out though. I love my new power auger.
