Took my brother-in-law to the berry today and iced over 40 fish. What a great day. All the fish were in the slot with the biggest fish at 22". Caught most of them on a white paddle bug tipped with a minnow chunk.
This was his first trip to Strawberry, what a way to introduce Utah fishing to someone from Out of state.
Gabby.

We were fishing east of the marina just past the first point to the north. We were in 26' of water with most of the fish caught on the bottom. There were other in the general area but we didn't see anyone having the kind of luck we had. It was just one of those great days.

I fished the Berry today with MGB and had a great time. Fishing was not very fast for us today, but constant enough to stick around. Fish were right on the bottom with very few cruisers. Took my mom and sisters up as well and they all caught a few. Thanks for a great tim Mike, hope you did well today. Jake

I was at the Marina too. I only saw three fish and they got decked.
I didn't want to walk very far so I stayed just north of the gas pumps. That was me drilling holes with my "Stealth" auger all over the place. I saw a few folks with BFT stickers on their equipment. I left when the W... got blowing. It made driving back over the Summit a little tedious.
I didn't show up until 9:15. It was the 34*. Running around drilling holes head me stripped to a long sleeve t-shirt before 10. I couldn't find the "secret place" thats in plain veiw yesterday. Oh well, it was better than working.
From the looks of it, the Marina area took a pounding from monday to saturday. plus, there was about five times as many peoples on saturday.

My sons and I were also at the Marina yesterday. We took Kentofnsl's advice and stayed close to the restrooms for my pregnant Daughter-in-law. That was a good call. We had a city of people around us but we did pick up fish most of the day.
My daughter-in-law caught the biggest fish of the day at just under 23". It was a great trip and the weather didn't get too bad until about 1:30pm, at which time we left for home. It was a great way to say goodby to 2005.

Fished the marina today. Had the same luck as yesterday, caught 15 and lost 3 tryng to get them through the hole. One was a fat 23 incher. The fish are holding tight to the bottom and the best way for hook ups is to hold your pole and keep the jigg close to the bottom touching the bottom frequently. We fished in 23' of water.
