What About Scofield?

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800040][size 3]Scofield is generally a very reliable ice fishing lake, but I haven't been up this year and I haven't heard a word about it. Does anyone know how the conditions are up there? I'll be happy to volunteer to go check it out, but I hope there's good ice to get out on. Anyone heard anything?[/size][/#800040][/font]

Went ot Scofield monday, the slush was deep! A few inches of snow on top and around 10" of ice. Fishing was off and on but nothing to "write home about".
Some friends and I made a trail from the highway to the island on 4-wheelers, by the time we left the ice seemed to be falling apart FAST. If anyone goes there I would recomend making your own trail...you just may fall through the one we were on.
The bows are nice and fat, around 17" (good luck).
