Strawberry Marina Ice

I know the ice is safe, but with all of this slush/snow on top is it going downhill? Just curious the ice thickness at the marina. I know alot of people went up on Monday, etc.

Also, anyone have any suggestions where to try near the marina today? Going with some buddies from work and would like to show them a decent time. I'm worried we won't walk far with the slush, so I'm thinking right near the marina somewhere. Thanks for any info. []

The ice is fine as of weds. The slush should suck though. It hasn't very far if at all under freezing in a couple days.

You may want to go straight down the hill from the marina parking lot. The area around the marina itself has been pounded with holes and that is where a lot of the water is comming from. If you stay to the West of the ramp, you will have less people and more fish.

the ice was real thick yesterday farther out from the marina the slush was frozen. 12 inches or so.
