Been reading how many of you rig up your transducer for ice fishing. Your tansducer will shot through the ice. I used to just make a shallow hole with your drill and fill it with water. Then add a little Wild Turkey (alcohol) to keep it from freezing. Just clean the transducer real well when you are through.

What a waste of good booze! Can't you use rubbing alchohol? Just don't use any good 12 yr or older Scotch!

I did a report on ice fishing in a college class, in one one my pics I was changing my socks that got wet when I fell in slush. What I didn't realize is that there was a bottle of JD next to my chair all of a sudden the topic changed to "how to stay warm!".
