fished willard today with lunkerhunter2 out of "the husker" ran into bassrods, cbr, utbass and another gentle man at the south marina didnt sound like they did to well but it was good talking to them. headed out from the marina and headed to the feed lot trolled that area for a bit useing several lures with no luck, then we headed for the light pole troled the west dike with no luck so we headed in i slowed down 300yrds from the mouth of the chanel and lh2 put a line out and got a monster bite but fish got off before we could see what it was. fishing was slow to nonexistant but at least i got to get the boat on the water for the first time this year and test things out

Well, do you now have a list of things to do to the "husker" or is she sea worthy enough for now?

Sounds like a nice first trip...even if the fish were not very cooperative. How did she perform?

Thats the way it goes this time of year, its kinda hit and miss. I think I will get my boat out for a couple hours tomorrow since I have the day off or I might hit the berry.
