Saturday was the day to be out on Budd Lake .
Perch and gills were hitting the waxeys fast and feverish .
Best method was drilling a dosen or so holes and jumping from one to another when the bite slowed down .
3 hours topps to limit out from the people I talked to today .

OH BOY BUDD lake ...my grand dad used too own about 200 acres on bud lake back in the early 30s ...my dads nic name was bud ..
cuz he spend most of his time down at bud lake .... ol grand dad owned a few cabins up the hill from the lake .I remember very little of the place .... I'll look and see if any one has any pictures from the lake ......they didnt sell out till about 74 or 75 or so when grand dad and granny both got too old too run things

oooooooo, nestalgia, I love nestalgia.

put me in an attic on a rainy day and I will be content for a week... old pictures, letters, achent house hold items....

one day I got in to a fishing buddies actic, he was remodling it in to a dormer and wow did we find a kool cache of old letters and pics of the town we live in. and love letters from WWI war time eara from back and forth over seas. "a stamp collectors dream"

needless to say we lost half a days work. LOL

and nope there wasnt any fish pictures... sport fishing was for the varry varry rich back in those days, for every one else fishing was for the dinner plate....LOL
