Lowrance LVR-850 DSC VHF Radio

Thinking about getting a VHF radio for my boat . Do you need a license for his type of radio ? Thinking about the Lowrance LVR-850 DSC VHF Radio .

Anyone have this radio and how do you like it ? Seem like a good price .

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]The Lowrance VHF radio should do you a good job. It will network nicely with other Lowrance products also. This means your radio can transmit your GPS co-ordinates when you have an emergency. This doesn't do you much good on smaller waters but on the Gorge and on Powell, it could be a lifesaver.[/size][/black][/font]
