[cool][#0000ff]Yeah, verily, I have strayed into the "dark side" (as brother Danzilla puts it). [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]When Utwalleye bought his new Smokercraft at the boat show, I showed compassion by buying his old tin fishing sled...a 15 foot flatbottom with a 40 horse Merc. That allowed him to sleep inside at night and put food on the table for the next week.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Danny boy hadda go spill the beans, 'cause I asked him to do a tuneup and "go through" for me. Motormouth.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Fear not, ye of the tubing faith, I have not deserted thee. For, verily my new ride shall only enhance my tubing, in that it shall provide passage for my tubes unto shores not reachable by finpower alone. I shall name my new motorized conveyance "Tube Ferry".[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Snicker, snicker. Of course I plan to use it to play with some wipers, walleyes, kitties and other denizens of our local waters too.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Hey Danny, is it true that you have been wearing pantyhose ever since your wife found that pair in the back seat of your car?[/#0000ff]

TD no truth to it at all ... I've been wearing them a lot longer than that.
I was afraid that if you were seen in your own boat by some other members that the world would spin off its axes, so I thought I'd make the announcement and soften them up to the idea of you sitting on a lake showing off your leggs... hmmmm maybe you wear pantyhose... has anyone ever seen your leggs?? what are you hiding in that tube??? do you even have leggs??? hmmmmm questions will be answered and the world will be complete.
LOL

[cool][#0000ff]Now you wanna see my legs? After admitting that you have been wearing those pantyhose for a long time? You're scaring me.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I usually keep my extremities covered while in "polite society", to avoid shock and awe. But, when tubing in remote areas, like the Sea of Cortez (warm water), I fish "wet" and don't cover my lovely legs...even with pantyhose. Here's a pic.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]That pic is only about 20 years old. Surely I haven't changed much since then. I'll bet you haven't either.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Okay, enough with the tuber to boater conversion jokes. I been on a boat before. Me and Noah used to fish all the tournaments.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Glad you like the shorts. They were cutoffs from a pair of polyester pants I used to wear fishing in Utah. Here's a pic. Sorry I didn't include the leisure suit and wide lapel shirt.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]In the olden days, the limit on Willard was TWO fish over 20 inches and there was only a limit of 6 walleyes on Utah Lake, with no size restrictions.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]This 6 fish limit was part of a 40 fish day during the post spawn feeding binge out in front of the Jordan River mouth, from my float tube. Ten pounders were not uncommon with most fish over 5 pounds. And, since there were bajillions of white bass at that time, the wallies were fat and sassy.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][Image: gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=15021;][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]In those days, most of the walleyes taken from Utah Lake each year were snagged while they were up in the tributaries, before DWR finally closed it off. Once the fish went back to the lake, very few people fished for them...or knew how to catch them.[/#0000ff]
