Went up to Deer Creek 3/27 and had a blast fished stick baits and
put 7 slimers in the boat and then put 7 slimers on the grill!!!
Water temp was 41 @ 730am left @ 500pm temp was 45
Most of the day we had no wind. Fish were 14" to 17".

Thanks for the report Bassleg, sounds like you had a nice day on the water. I wonder if the walleye are moving up to spawn, sounds like the water temps are about right. WH2

I marked alot of fish on the inlet but could not get any takers
we fished for eye's first but the trout were rising and it's been along
winter so we went after slimers.

Walleye catching this time of the year is tough for me, I always prefer the post spawn but I always go out and try the prespawn anyway. WH2
