I want your opinion... fish cat 4 or caddis nevada pro II
#1
I am going to buy a new float tube this weekend, and pass my nevada gold on to my son, and his on to my daughter, and so on. I really like the fish cat 4 in the pumpkin color. My only reservation is the pockets are a little small. The caddis pro II has big pockets, and a built in cooler. anyone have experience with the caddis? I have loved my nevada gold u-tube, but the 5 year warranty on the fish cat is very tempting.
Thanks[Image: 92261.jpg][Image: i318845sq01.jpg]

Hey Garbageman,

Go over to the Float Tube board. There are some good discussions on the Fishcat tubes and comparisons off all of those you mentioned. I have had an FC4 for a few years now, and I am very happy with it.

[cool][#0000ff]Before you plunk your money down, take a good look at the Creek Company ODC 420. It is about the same price as the FC4, but is closer in size and quality to the more expensive Fat Cats. Several of the folks on the Float Tubing board have got them in the last few months and everybody loves them.[/#0000ff]

ATFishing's Creek Co. ODC 420, with all the bells and whistles. Rod rack, tool rack and a great Bimimi top. Nice Job AT.

[cool][#0000ff]Sportsmans had a couple last fall, but did not resupply when they put up their tubes and set up for ice fishing. I know they don't have them right now.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Cabelas is probably your best shot. Although, Creek Company has had a couple of specials, through their website, they don't last long. I think they were just trying to get them introduced.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I plan to get one myself. The back seat is much better than the Super Fat Cat I have been using for a couple of years, and everything else looks to be similar...for over a hundred dollars less. The other folks on the tubing board all like theirs.[/#0000ff]
