Strawberry monster
#1
I have a client who recently told me that someone caught a monster rainbow at Strawberry through the ice. Anyone heard about this monster rainbow. Client claims the fish was in excess of 15lbs. Just curious!

[cool]Generally, if there's news like that (and it's true) then it's usually on BFT and all you have to do is go back a page or two. We've been talking about it on here for about a week now.

I believe it was 18 pounds!!! Click on BLM's link, or the one that's on the page before this one and it will take you to the channel 2 news page complete w/pics.

[cool]No worries, Randy. That fish's big brother and/or sister are probably in there waiting for you to troll right over them at Soldier Creek![Wink]

That's a big fish no matter what.....but where is the picture of him on the ice with it? Seems a little strange to have a pic of his back to the camera on the ice but no pics of the fish on a hard deck...is it just me?

I personally wouldn't want to show where I caught a pig like that on the ice especially on here . Some people go thru the trouble of blacking out the background to prevent people from guessing where it was . I know if I have been there before I would have a idea where it was just by the photo . At least he said where he caught it and being by yourself makes it tough to get a pic on the ice but it can be done if you have the right equipment . This pic shows it at the berry marina and is enough for me .

I believe I have seen him out fishing before . Very nice fish .

Ok then, if that's at the marina I'll go for that. It's hard to tell what's for real anymore.

Yesterday at The Strawberry Marina, an employee told me that the fish was caught on 6 pound test line.
