my buddy todd and myself hit dc today at daylight.
fishing was a bit slow. we both caught a couple of hogs and a couple of smaller ones.
we were fishing from shore just east of the island.
we were using green power bait and nightcrawlers.
the first couple of pictures were when we started and the last couple are just before we left at noon.
what a nice day to be out and about.

marty we were on the bottom.
when we first got there, there must have been a couple hundred carp just cruzing by just under the surface.

you ought to see it in the early mornings! From Rainbow Bay East to the flats its a ballette of dancing fish.
