Peacock bass fishin in Florida
#1
Went Peacock bass fishin in Florida a few weeks ago. Had an awesome time. Everbody should try it for at least a half day. If you have been thinking about it or taking a trip to Miami/Ft Lauderdale go to [url "http://www.southfloridafishing.org/"]www.southfloridafishing.org[/url] and contact Capt Chuck Westlake for either large mouth or peacock bass fishing. Attached are a few pictures if I did it correctly. It was the most fun I've had in years.

I managed to catch a huge oscar and a small snook but no gar. I wished I would have spent some more time in the Everglades fishing for large mouth, but my first guide was horrible. But the next guide was great. I caught 33 peacocks in a day and a half. It was a blast. My guide had a 21' Triton bass boat and it would run right around 70mph on the long straight channels. I had so much fun I came home and spent my life savings and any future for that matter on a new boat. Only 27 more days before I pick it up[Smile]

hey captnflappinshad those are some great pictures. now that captnflappinshad has decided to buy a boat i think that i will take him shopping tommorrow and do my part and buy him a few jigs and maybe buy him a hot dog. the captn. decided to buy boat so we can go together since i'm to tight. i offered to take him on my kickboat but he said that i'm over exceeding the weight limit on it with just my fat little self on it and he's not going to sit on the back like a dog waiting for a duck to crash land and then go swimming after it. well i'm glad that that the future is looking good for us with the captn's new boat but i feel sorry for a the fish lips we are about to rip. later trfishin

No worries about college. No children and no wife for that matter. haa ha haa If I run into a woman that likes fishing and Harley riding I may be in trouble. My bro trfishin and I saw a possible candidate in SLC while we attempted to boost the Utah economy by buying all of Sportsman warehouse and 1/2 of Cabelas.[Smile]

[Smile]hey road they don't call him the captain for nothing. he's so good he can take care of the fast bikes, boats, and women, catch a peacock bass and even mow the lawn before dinner. he's a contender no matter where he is. look out fish as were almost ready to rip some lips just counting down the days before the captain picks up the boat. trfishin

I would take a slow woman that can cook. Most fast women cost too much. Haa ha haa

Those are some great fish. I had no idea there were Peacock Bass
in florida. If I had those in my back yard, I would probably never go to work.

hey road if the captain could have caught the one we saw in SLC on sunday i think that he would have done all the cooking and even baited her hook and clean her fish. even if she did'nt know how to fish or cook i think she would be a great add on on the new lund. i take that back i think she would be a distraction as we nearly wrecked the truck. i just got back from the chiropractor from getting the neck adjusting as i got a kink in it starring at her and i still have a pain in my ribs where the wife kicked me when i started talking in my sleep about the captain's possible new wife. i think that the new lund would probably be sunk or dented if the captain had her on the boat. i guess we would just leave her in the truck to back the trailer in to load us up. she'll be wearing a bft hat and some hip wadders. that will be a good ending to a great day of fishin so if you see her have her PM the captain. trfishin
