Took my kid to Kaysville Ponds Fri. We fished the Northern two ponds using night crawlers. Didn't get a bite.
Anyone have any idea's as to what the fish bite on there?
I thought we would have gotten trout, bass, or catfish with the worms...

I was up there friday also, but didn't get the chance to do any fishing. In the morning they were on the surface, rolling and jumping until around 9 then the water went quite. I have no idea what they are biting on. But I'll bet they were slurping insects off the top.

The better ponds to fish are usually the other two. the second one from the park is usually the best.

I have had great luck fishing out there with a small brown grub under a gold 1/16th oz jighead. Hang it about 3 feet under a bobber with a little corn flavored scent. When they are rising, cast to the vicinity and you'll do extra good!
Good luck!
