Ok, I know, why did you keep it? No good excuse. I went to the Web 31Mar. for an afternoon outing with Sparky and found the water like coffee with some cream. Well, I fished and Sparky just had fun. I had only caught one medium sized whitie and I was at my last hole. I fished it a while and had decided -------- well, I'm out here and it's a lot better than most anything else and sparky had fun so let's head home. Cast into the current and let it drift. Another snag, oh well. Snag heck!!!!! I fought this guy on my 4# tippet for probably 10 min. After landing him, I said to myself, ok, release him for next time. I didn't.[unsure][unsure][unsure] I had two over riding thoughts. I've paid my dues and the fillets would be awfully good eating. [Smile] P.S. They were great. Sorry for my sins guys. Will you forgive me?

Dont worry you have done well my son . The fishing Gods are in a peaceful state as we speak. You have done your part to help the food chain. Go now and be one with nature. Just return what Mother nature has given you in some small way.

[cool][#0000ff]Nice fish. You earned it. Ain't it amazin' how many "last cast" fish turn out to be so memorable?[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Dominos Nabisco. I forgive you for your sins of cookery. You release plenty of fish. I doubt that the universe is going to tilt because you kept a nice brownie for the table.[/#0000ff]

You've committed no sin! It's only one fish! Bring on the cajun and lemon pepper seasoning!

[Smile]congradulations on the nice fish. i put a hook'em & cook'em fish sticker in my back window. it sure gets a lot of laughs and a lot of frowns. i have had other anglers complain about my sticker. i put it in the window as i liked the saying and it's great to release fish each time you go but it's also nice to eat a fish now and then. i release 99 percent of the fish i catch but just like to see the looks on peoples faces when they read it in the back window on the way home after a long day of work. trfishin

Very well done my friend. It sounds like you and Sparky thoroughly enjoyed yourselves.

When you release so many fish as it is, it is always better to keep the one that is going to feed you and give your nourishment.[cool]

Next time keep the whitefish, too. They are better eating than the trout.

shelby,
Hey bud! That's my line![shocked] I do and I did! That allowed me 2 bg meals for the 2 of us. I totally agree. We are a mninority, but I like it that way. All the more for me, yum. I normally release the trout and keep the whities. Every once in a while though I enjoy a trout meal.

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]I'd really like to see the picture but unfortunately about a third of us can't see it because the in-line option box has been checked and the picture has not be inserted into the text message. Don't know why it's invisible but for a lot of us but it's some setting or something. Please uncheck the in-line box so all of us can see it? Thanks![/size][/black][/font]

BLM,
Sorry, I should have looked at your instructions before posting. I see the "Dude" took care of it for me. I'll try to do it right next time, if my deteriorated brain can remember.
