Locomotive Springs
#1
Posting this alittle late. Hit locomotive springs on Saturday at about 10am with a friend from work and 3 kids. Channel was very mossy, so mossy in fact that my sinkers didnt even hit the bottom sometimes. Moved around for a bit and caught 4 very small carp in the first 4 hours. Finally found a good spot with no moss and knocked the heebeejeebees out of those planter rainbows. I caught about 16 in about an hour (with the kids reeling them in of course). One after the other until we ran out of worms. My friend and his son caught quite a few in the same amount of time. Pretty fun way to end the trip. The kids had a blast!

By the looks of things the kids had a great time. Locomotive can be a fun place for the little ones. Strictly a put and take fishery, so I hope you enjoy the food! The cormorants wipe out the small trout in the summer. This is usually the last month they plant fish out there until the fall.
