pelican lake repport?????

has anyone been to pelican lake lately, if so how's the fishing. i want to get down there soon. thanks trfishin

I imagine the bull bluegills ought to be hittin' some flys here real soon. I was out there the bignning of May last year and it was pretty good fishing for the 'gills. The bass seemed to be holding pretty tight to the reeds with most of the 'gills in the open pockets of moss in open water.

I fished it on the 15 with 3 others we fished it from 10:30 to 2:30 we hooked 10 bass total smallest was 10" biggest was 16" most came from spinnerbaits fished tight to the reeds in 5' of water water temp was 56
