I've been busy over the last two weeks. No days off. So when I heard the sun was going to be shining again in our rain drenched state I decided it was time to get back out and catch some trout. Fortunately, they cooperated. I had nearly forgotten what the sun looks like. It was a beautiful day. Here's the ODC during a lunch break. (Sorry. No pics of the skipper as I was alone again.)

The fishing was excellent. Chironomids hatching from my arrival about 10:00 A.M. until I finally hung it up around 5:00 P.M. Fish were very cooperative once I got the bug size and color right. (Thanks to the stomach pump.) I fished an average of 8 feet deep. A nice mix of rainbows and golden rainbows. Final score was 28. These are a few of the pics I took.

It was great to see the sun again. The next two months should be the best trout fishing of the year. Chironomids rule!

[cool][#0000ff]Excellent report and pics...as usual. I am expecially moved when I see such a deep and profound bond between a man and his tube. (Sniff - sniff)[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Don't sweat not being in the pics. We have seen what you look like. We just look at the fishies anyway.[/#0000ff]
